Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
45 class hours (= 33.75 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 90 hours (equivalent to 3 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 56.25 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

After successfully completing this module, students will:
   
 
   
• be able to analyze biographical, life stage and life situation-specific factors that influence professional learning
• be able to describe learning diagnostic procedures and their possible applications
• have acquired methodological knowledge in the field of educational guidance and support
 
   
• be able to apply learning diagnostic procedures in the process of educational guidance.
• be able to apply their acquired knowledge of educational guidance and support in a situation-related manner.
• be able to practice educational consultations.
 
  
• be able to test approaches to process-related educational guidance in the group and reflect on the possibilities of transferring them to the (vocational) educational field of work
 
 
   
• be able to critically reflect on their own learning strategies and optimize them on the basis of pedagogical insights from educational guidance.
 
• be able to recognize the possibilities and limits of pedagogical work.

• Competence-oriented diagnostics of (vocational) learning processes in education, training and continuing education
• Principles of in-process educational guidance
• Learning to learn (techniques and strategies for lifelong learning).
• Fields of application and forms of individual and group-related learning process support (e.g. portfolio work, learning development discussions)
