Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will: • be able to analyze biographical, life stage and life situation-specific factors that influence professional learning • be able to describe learning diagnostic procedures and their possible applications • have acquired methodological knowledge in the field of educational guidance and support • be able to apply learning diagnostic procedures in the process of educational guidance. • be able to apply their acquired knowledge of educational guidance and support in a situation-related manner. • be able to practice educational consultations. • be able to test approaches to process-related educational guidance in the group and reflect on the possibilities of transferring them to the (vocational) educational field of work • be able to critically reflect on their own learning strategies and optimize them on the basis of pedagogical insights from educational guidance. • be able to recognize the possibilities and limits of pedagogical work.

• Educational guidance as a pedagogical concept • Factors that inhibit and promote learning • Competence-oriented diagnostics of (vocational) learning processes in education, training and continuing education • Principles of in-process educational guidance • Learning to learn (techniques and strategies for lifelong learning). • Fields of application and forms of individual and group-related learning process support (e.g. portfolio work, learning development discussions) • Performance feedback: External assessment/self-assessment • Chances and limits of educational guidance
