Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
30 class hours (= 22.5 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 60 hours (equivalent to 2 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 37.5 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
The module French for Beginners 2 is designed for students with basic knowledge, equivalent to the A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or acquired during the module French for Beginners 1. Together, these two modules provide a framework through which students can acquire and develop their basic French language skills at the A1/A2 level. Students consolidate their fundamental language skills and develop their communication competencies in an intercultural context. They learn to apply these skills appropriately in general and professional situations. Students gain a deeper insight into everyday life and the professional world in France, and develop an awareness of different language registers.

Teaching and learning materials are tailored to specific target groups. As teaching and learning become increasingly digitised, interactive digital materials are made available more frequently through the learning management system and are integrated into classroom instruction as part of a blended learning approach. In exceptional circumstances, video conferencing systems can also be used instead of traditional in-person instruction.
