Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
60 class hours (= 45 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 180 hours (equivalent to 6 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 135 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
In this module, strategic management is understood as the direct and indirect influence of behavior on the realization of goals derived from the superior goals of the organization, the company and the expectations of its stakeholders. After successfully completing this module, students will be able to make business decisions on the basis of corporate and environmental analyses and the structured derivation of alternatives, to implement them successfully in the company and to control success.
   
After taking part in the _Corporate Management_ module, students will be able to,
_ identify and evaluate potential and challenges with regard to the development of corporate strategies,
_ understand and systematize the complexity of the strategic management of companies,
_ analyze and assess the relevant framework conditions of company management,
_ explain management theories and apply them to practical business examples,
_ characterize and analyze corporate strategies at different levels,
_ make decisions in new situations in a structured and confident manner,
_ provide in-depth insights into management and leadership styles in everyday business life.
