The count of hours per week is a combination of lecture (V for German Vorlesung), exercise (U for Übung), practice (P) oder project (PA). For example a course of the form 2V+2U has 2 hours of lecture and 2 hours of exercise per week.

Exam recurrence:
The information regarding exam recurrence is found within the exam policy of the study programme (ASPO).
Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
15 class hours (= 11.25 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 260 hours (equivalent to 10 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 248.75 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
The focus of this module is to apply the lecture´s content practically and to generate mutual inspiration through study and professional activity.
  
Professional skills:
After successfully completing this module, students will have comprehensive knowledge of the concept, development, meaning, scope and methods of project management.
Students will deepen their understanding of specialist issues from their professional field.
  
Methodological skills:
Students will be able to identify and transfer theoretical approaches and methods and use them to solve selected practical project issues, e.g. from the IT sector or other selected sectors.
They will have improved their ability to think in a structured and transdisciplinary manner.
  
Social competence:
Students will have increased their knowledge with regard to interaction, communication, motivation and moderation in teams. They will have strengthened their ability to empathize, communicate, negotiate and argue.

Module content:
Students will tackle issues, that they encounter in current projects in their work experience phase. The questions arising during the company project must be addressed from both a practical and a scientific perspective and presented in accordance with the specified examination format, either in the form of a project report or a written paper about the project.
Supervisors from the university and the respective companies will provide support in selecting topics and clarifying the central question.
Students will select the topics for their business projects from a range of subject areas.
The selection of a follow-up project for the subsequent practical module is permitted.
