Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module students will: • be able to work on a specialized problem/topic independently and according to scientific methods within a given period of time, • in the case of a practical thesis, be able to develop a practical solution to a problem, • be able to independently research the specialist literature of a selected problem area and analyze it, • be able to present the given topic in written form according to the respective guidelines and in compliance with scientific standards.

Module content:
The bachelor’s thesis is a detailed written thesis on a selected topic or issue from the field of business. The topic of the thesis should pertain to content from the student’s field of study and can take the form of practical work (e.g. in cooperation with a company or other institution) or theoretical work. Students have 12 weeks to write their thesis. While doing so, students will be individually supervised by the professors of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The title of their bachelor’s thesis will be determined by the supervising professor, whereby the ideas of the students or the participating companies and institutions will be taken into account.
