Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will: • be able to describe the basic principles, terms, components and structure of geoinformation systems, • be proficient in georeferencing data and maps and can change the reference system, • be able to analyze and present spatial data, • be able to operate a desktop GIS and model environmentally relevant information.
