Learning outcomes:
This course teaches the fundamentals of higher mathematics. The material covered is coordinated with the content of the courses in physics and engineering mechanics and makes (guided) use of: - a handbook of mathematical formulae (author: H.-J. Bartsch, see reading list), and - a pocket calculator as a verification tool (current model: TI Voyage 200).
