Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will understand the basics of urban water management, the interaction between sewer system and wastewater treatment plant, as well as the hydraulic and material relationships between the two system components. They will understand the theoretical principles of common models of urban water management, as well as their practical application and will be able to evaluate simulation results. With this knowledge, they will be able to solve simple and complex problems regarding the design of urban drainage systems, central rainwater treatment and retention systems, as well as rainwater management systems. In this context, they will follow the guidelines of the relevant technical regulations.
